If you don’t have a TV aerial and want to watch Freeview through your new Smart digital TV, I’m afraid that you wouldn’t be able to do this. Freeview is a service that delivers live TV via a TV aerial and is not yet currently available over the internet. The same is true for Freesat TV’s without a satellite dish connected. The live TV function would not work.
However your new smart tv will work with all the streaming apps available such as I player, Netflix, or Amazon prime.

Who’s getting a hot tub instead of a Holiday this year? I have been asked to wire in many hot tubs over the years, the main consideration from an electricians point of view is the power rating of the hot tub and how the power supply gets back to a power source, if you happen to get a 13A hot tub these can be plugged into any outside socket and usually the easiest to wire / install however the most common more permanent tubs are the 16A & 32A hot tubs, both of these need wired back to a suitable power supply whether that’s your fuse board or an existing suitable circuit. You may need wiring run underground so it’s worth thinking about how trenches affect your garden also… If your looking for a hot tub power supply then give us a call and we can discuss the options and come up with an idea of cost from there.

It was a lovely sunny day for this aerial installation the customer hadn’t had a TV signal for quite some time as the Aerial was faulty so a couple of hours later they were receiving a full digital free view signal again.

For this wee job in Inchture the customer wanted a new external socket. I always advise to install quality products and this is a fine example. The socket was installed back to back with an existing double socket which is the most efficient way in terms of cost and aesthetic‘s to neatly install an outside PowerPoint.

The brief for this job was to improve the Wi-Fi in a large country home where the Wi-Fi worked reliably in one room via BT but had very poor connection speeds,

For this job we travelled to Stirling, this is a brand-new 55 inch Phillips ambi-light, mounted on a full motion bracket to allow the customer to pull the telly in and out to access the sky Q box, fire stick and network powerline adaptor fitted behind the telly, we managed to get the wires down the wall with next to no damage we had to make one little hole which is at the side of the chimney breast and patched it back up before we left.

For this job we had to improve the customers Wi-Fi in the rear of the property and install a new digital TV aerial for the conservatory the customer had spent a long time putting up with really poor Wi-Fi and could not receive a signal in the rear of the property with either the TV or on wi-fi enabled devices, By the time we left we had a very happy customer who was able to watch the telly and browse the Internet at the same time in the conservatory.

Brand new LG oled mounted with a Sonos sound bar below, all completed in one trip with no decor damage, we managed to get the power and HDMI cables up to the tv with no holes, everything was wired back to the corned where there will be a new unit to accommodate the sky box & the DVD player.
