Broken aerial / wind damage
I was contacted by this customer in rural Perthshire who runs this property as a holiday let. This is a job that shouldn’t have had to happen, upon arrival I could quickly see the aerial, mount and pole were pretty poor quality and not fit for location I have seen more strength in a McDonald’s straw. I made my recommendations based on the property being in an exposed spot and there is now an inch and a quarter galvanise steel mast holding the new aerial up I always use quality materials as standard so I don’t anticipate any issues with this installation now. it’s unfortunate that this broke in the first place however the initial installation was carried out by another contractor and the customer now has an additional aerial to pay for and scratched bedroom windows to pay for, if you want the best solution first time please call us.
